The Tandem skydivingThe student needs only minimal instruction before making a tandem jump. Though this web site is oriented towards first time skydivers, we welcome both new and experienced jumpers to our little drop zone. We have a Beechcraft King Air A90 as out primary skydiving plane. When Making an AFF Skydive The student exits the aircraft with two USPA AFF Instructors. Tandem Training generally takes less than 30 minutes, and depending on a number of variables, a student may spend only half a day for the training and the jump. Tandem skydiving exposes first-time jumpers to the skydiving routine with minimal expectations from the student.

Surveys indicate that most people jumping for the first time choose the tandem method. During World War I, parachutes were introduced as rescue devices for observation balloon pilots, but airplane pilots were instructed to land with their aircraft. After you calculate all your time and cash available for skydiving, you will be able to choose between three first jump skydiving methods. Static line, tandem and AFF AFF training and the first jump can often be accomplished the same day. Many schools offer in-air video of the freefall and landing.
