Skydive Morgin Hill

After watching a short video you will be trained by your Tandem Master instructor to make your first skydive. The tandem is the fastest and easiest way to be introduced to the sport parachuting. Those adventurous spirits daring enough to make their first skydive at Bay Area Skydiving are rewarded with the finest instructors available. People are afraid of skydiving mainly because there are a lot of myths related to it in the popular culture. These several inaccuracies that have been propagated are the biggest reason for skydiving fear. Here are four of these myths along with the real explanation. After enjoying the beauty and serenity of the approximately five to seven minutes of canopy flite you and your tandem instructor will fly the parachute for a soft, easy landing. AFF first-jump training and the jump requires more support from the staff than the other methods and is priced accordingly. In the 19th century, women, who still number only between 15 and 20 percent among skydivers, began to appear on the scene. Kathe Paulus from Germany jumped professionally in Germany around the turn of the 20th century. There are three types of first-time jump courses from which a novice can choose from: tandem, static-line and harness-hold. People use to call harness-hold jumps accelerated free fall (AFF) jumps in the United States. Once the parachute is opened, (usually the parachute will be fully inflated by 2,500 feet). the jumper can control his or her direction and speed with cords called "steering lines," with hand grips called "toggles" that are attached to the parachute, and so he or she can aim for the landing site and come to a relatively gentle stop in a safe landing environment. In order to make a jump safe, skydivers have to do two actions every time: firstly, they must open the parachute in time and secondly, they must land in a safe location. Only the most highly trained, professional, USPA certified instructors teach at Bay Area Skydiving.
